Caribbean Style & Culture 2013 - Nanichi
The Fourth Annual CARIBBEAN STYLE & CULTURE AWARDS & FASHION SHOWCASE was held on Friday June 28th. at the Marriott Inn & Conference Center to commemorate National Caribbean American Heritage Month. As declared by President Barack Obama, the month of June is Caribbean American Heritage Month. Caribbean Style and Culture will feature internationally acclaimed artists and fashion industry leaders from the Caribbean.

Saturday April 13, 2013 was a huge day at the University of Maryland, College Park. The African Students Association held its Annual Spring Show with
showcased a variety of performances including a fashion show, dance numbers, acting and singing. To top it all off was an appearance by none other than
the Kukere Master himself – Iyanya.

DC CW50 Fashion, Beauty & Lifestyle Expo 2012
Over recent years I have heard plenty about DC CW50 Fashion, Beauty & Lifestyle Expo; and being a fan of America Next Top Model since the beginning I couldn’t help but stare at the FBL commercials.
It’s been a long time coming! And it’s unfortunate that this year was my first time attending the expo and it was absolutely a great experience. It’s an honor to also add that Nanichi played a big part in me being present.
This year Nanichi was invited to be a part of DC CW50 Fashion, Beauty & Lifestyle Expo as a vender. I would like to thank everyone who stopped by and shopped at booth #507. I met many awesome fans, supporters and patrons as well as fashion contributors such as Ms.J Alexander and Jaslene Gonzalez.
Thanks to my team Celebrity, entertainment and nightlife photographer Mateo Photography, Models Kim Ryan, Rita Drayton, Mari Loh, and Milochka Tshibingu as well as Makeup Artist: Mackenzie Plus Me.

Latin Fashion Week DC 2012
This year Nanichi celebrated the grand 5th anniversary of hard work, dedication and success. Latin Fashion Week 2012 is the second year the Nanichi has been featured in this fashion week, with the first feature being in 2011. First time a charm and 2nd time a blast! Once again Nanichi opened Latin Fashion Week DC and it was an honor!
Baltimore Fashion Week 2012
Baltimore Fashion Week 2012 began with the all too fabulous Launch Party and then night of Fashion Shows and on August 18th 2012 Jewelry by Nanichi graced the runway at Pikesville Hilton Hotel.
Latin Fashion Week 2011
On September 29th 2011, Nanichi graced the runway at the first ever Formal DC Latin Fashion Week 2011.
The 2011 First Formal event provided a platform for Local, National and International talented designers Providing Washington DC with a one of a kind fashion event; during LFW Fashion designers local, national and international showcased 2011 collections. The DC Latin Fashion Week embraces diversity in fashion where designers, models, fabric, styles and ideas come from around the world and are manifested under one roof.
