In Celebration of CARIBBEAN HERITAGE MONTH

 You may be wondering what Nanichi is doing in celebration of Caribbean Heritage Month 2012.

Jamican Women of Washington, INC. (JWoW) hosted its 10th annual tea-off to hood health and silent auction fundraiser on Sunday, June 10th 2012 at the Mayflower Hotel, Washington DC. Nanichi donated jewelry to the silent auction to help raise funds to donate a minimum of fifty thousand dollars (US$50,000) to Child Health Development: Getting to the weight of the matter, to raise awareness about the importance of well child care visits. In DC proceeds will go to support Bright Learning Beginnings and Mary’s Center and in Jamaica funds will be donated to purchase equipment for public health centers in need.
 
Nanichi is hosting a series of photo shoots that will highlight Caribbean culture and scenery through jewelry and by collaborating with designers, models, photographers and makeup artists of Caribbean heritage.
