We are taking this time to announce that Nanichi's popular Bamboo Earrings are no longer being produced and sold. We have received many inquiries lately about these designs but due to the discontinued manufacturing of the material we will discontinue the product temporarily.
Thanks to the team of Caribbean Style & Culture for allowing Nanichi to grace their runway this year 2013.

I have been writing for The COCO Magazine since the beginning of 2013.
COCO is an online magazine for fashion, news, lifestyle, entertainment and
quality reporting of contemporary trends that impact Caribbean people
internationally. We embody the character, the voice, and the spirit of our
readers by giving them a place to read, write, and learn about themselves.

It was a pleasure watching this documentary, I can watch it over and over. I believe that there is something we can learn from any and everyone and personally I love Beyoncé's work ethic. Feel free to watch Life is But a Dream.
“I [Ilka Harrigan] did it backwards, Nanichi started in the United States, and it started when I moved away from home. As the saying goes “necessity is the mother of invention,” and thus Nanichi bloomed out of creative hands that were busy searching for a specific type of jewelry. I wanted to wear jewelry that reminded me of home and said a bit about me and my origin.”
Each of Nanichi’s collections is in some way inspired by Caribbean culture, nature and scenery.
“I like to represent on the runway, and photoshoots. Nanichi speaks for itself; I feel like I’ve introduced so many people that I’ve worked with, as well as my fans to various aspects of the Caribbean region through my jewelry. Now it’s time to introduce my work to the Caribbean region.”
2013 is a different year for Nanichi.
“I’ve decided to do less this year; I wanted to take a break and go back home. Not quite a vacation but this year we’ll be working in a different location of the atlas.”
